Cindy Alfaro moved to Southern Utah four years ago chasing her love for the outdoors and adventure sports. Since settling roots in the Utah desert, she quickly realized just how harsh the heat can be - which is when she discovered Kolob Mountain. Kolob Mountain provides warm, not hot, summers and a calm and serene feeling, unlike Springdale in the summertime.
As a realtor, she specializes in all things Kolob, from rough lots to cozy cabins. From late spring to fall you can find Cindy atop the Kolob Mountain.
Contact CindyKolob is the greatest escape from the desert heat. As you drive up the scenic Kolob Terrace Road, you cross into Zion National Park boundary many times and pass multiple famous trailheads from the Subway, to Wild Cat, and Lava Point. You gain elevation quickly until you reach the Kolob Reservoir at 8,117 feet, a spring-fed reservoir popular for fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, camping and swimming.
A great escape from the heat and crowds of Zion National Park, surrounded by beautiful Ponderosa pines and Aspen trees, this is the place to truly unwind, slow down and enjoy the cooler temperatures. Kolob Mountain is only accessible seasonally, usually May to November. The roads are not plowed but can be accessed by snowmobile in the winter months. Want a Summer escape? Look no more!
